Franklin Roosevelt Afotey

Franklin is the CEO of the investment banking group GoldSuisse and is a trusted advisor in conceptualizing and creating revenue opportunities by leveraging with international banking network. He is a respected investment banking executive skilled in attaining corporate level deals and top-grading products offerings to deliver optimal return on asset. Mr. Afotey has record in Senior Leadership and growing client franchises in Investment Banking and global markets coverage in Fixed Income, Investible Indices, Derivative Products, Debt Capital Markets and Structured Products. He has strong Treasury Management skills especially in developing and optimising risk/return in balance sheet including capital/Leverage Management.

Franklin has won many awards across Asia, Europe, Middle East and Africa and has been a speaker and moderator at many international conferences including Ghana Bank Capita Forum, Africa Singapore Business Forum, and Thomson Reuters on mining, energy finance, trade, financial regulation and capital markets. Until recently, he was the chief executive officer Strategic Hedge Capital. During which time he was voted Africa’s investment banker of the day by Thomson Reuter’s Africa Trading Summit in Cape Town in 2015 and 2016 respectfully.

Franklin is a Chartered Risk Analyst and Chartered Corporate Treasurer. He is currently Doctoral Research Candidate on Investment Banking & Derivative Finance at Swiss Business School, Zurich, Switzerland.
