Mohamed has an extensive experience in project finance, negotiating mining concessions’ agreement, mining and petroleum law, taxation, banking and arbitration.

 

Mohamed regularly represents governments and companies on mining and oil related transactions. He has represented the Government of Guinea in a number of mining transactions including the USD 20 billion Simandou project.

 

Beyond the Guinean mining industry, his experience covers the region. As such, a significant part of his practice is focused on assisting in reforming legal and regulatory framework of the mining industry or in negotiating mining agreement and capacity building in favor administrative bodies and private companies both in contract negotiations and mining taxation.
